Mezzo-soprano Stephanie Weil is an active performer in the Detroit music community. She is a co-founder of the vocal quartet Serafina, which is dedicated to presenting works by early and contemporary women composers. The ensemble appears on concert series across the country and offers annual programming throughout Metro Detroit. Stephanie’s recent solo engagements include several Mozart and Haydn masses, as well as the mezzo-soprano solos in Vivaldi’s Gloria, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Handel’s Messiah, and Duruflé’s Requiem. Her upcoming 2025 engagements include Bach’s Magnificat.
Deeply rooted in sacred music, Stephanie nurtures her passion for serving church communities through her work with the choirs of Christ Church Cranbrook and St. Joseph Cappella. She has been a devoted cantor in her parish for more than a decade and has participated in numerous project choirs, including several Audivi collaborations with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Outside her musical commitments, Stephanie enjoys a joyful and full life with her young family.
