Lara Alami
Lara Alami, mezzo-soprano, is an active ensemble and solo artist based in Metro Detroit. She performs with leading vocal ensembles including Audivi, True Concord, Alium Spiritum, Sounding Light, the Oregon Bach Festival, and Conspirare. Known for her warm tone and expressive musicality, Lara appears regularly in repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary works.
She teaches applied voice at Oakland University and maintains a private studio in Bloomfield Hills. Her graduate thesis on vocal intonation has been completed and is currently being expanded into a forthcoming pedagogical book.
