Jeremy Peters is an Assistant Professor of Music (Business & Entrepreneurship) in the Department of Music at Wayne State University and is a co-founder of Quite Scientific Records. He maintains an active teaching, performing, researching, and publishing practice and is a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
He previously was the Director of Music Publishing for Ghostly International, having built the division at the company. As well, was the music supervisor for the EMMY award-winning documentary film, “MEDORA.”
Jeremy has previously held appointments at both the University of Michigan’s Law School and School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (Department of Entrepreneurship and Leadership). He teaches teaching coursework on copyright, problem-solving, entrepreneurship, and the music industry. In addition, as a researcher, he has been asked to present papers at conferences around the world.
Jeremy is an alum of both the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he is a life member of Clare Hall College.
